NMBS #4 — Elite Men’s and Women’s Short Track Flash

June 17, 2007 (Park City, Utah) — Canada’s Geoff Kabush (Team Maxxis) claimed the win in the Short Track round #4, with a time of 23:37, ahead of talented 21 year-old Sam Jurekovic (USA), of Boulder, Colo. riding for the U-23 national team, who came in at 23:53. Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (USA) Subaru-Gary Fisher continued his run of good form to take third place with 23:56. Todd Wells (USA) GT Bikes, of Durango, Colo. was fourth and Carl Decker (USA) Giant fifth.

Nash, Gould and Vanlandingham again shared the spoils for the Luna Women’s team in the pro women’s Short Track, with Nash taking line honors with a time of 23:45, less than one second ahead of Georgia Gould, 23:46. Shonny Vanlandingham finished comfortably in third place with a time of 24:13. Heather Irmiger, Boulder, Colo. and Willow Koerber, Whistler, BC, took fourth and fifth, respectively, for the Subary-Gary Fisher team.
