May 7, 2007 – Canada’s Claire Buchar (Can) Specialized-SRAM-Rock Shox placed second in the pro women’s NMBS Downhill #3 in Fontana, CA yesterday. Kathy Pruitt (USA) Jamis won the race in a time of 2:22.93. On the men’s side, it was Cody Warren (USA) Foes-No Fear who took the victory in a time of 1:56.88. Steve Smith (Can) Cove Bikes was the fastest Canuck in 11th place.

The Super D on Friday, May 4 was once again dominated by XC racers, with Katie Compton (USA) Spike, 2006 Cyclocross World Championship Medalist, taking the women’s race and Adam Craig (USA) Giant winning the men’s.
