March 23, 2011 – The Dwars door Vlaanderen is underway and available to watch LIVE online via Beligian French-language sports network rtbf.be. Traditionally, the race marks the start of the Flemish cycling week, and has always taken place on a Wednesday, a week and a half before the Ronde van Vlaanderen.

The race was first held in 1945. This year’s edition started in Roeselare and will finish in Waregem after 201km of grueling racing across several taxing cobblestone sections.

Canada’s Team SpiderTech p/b C10 is in the mix with Ryan Anderson, Mark Batty, Hugo Houle, Martin Gilbert, Keven Lacombe, Simon Lambert-Lemay, Pat McCarty (USA) and Svein Tuft. Michael Barry (Team Sky) is competing along with Dominique Rollin (FDJ)…
