May 10, 2013 (Pelham, ON) – We are just over a week away from the 2013 edition of the Niagara Classic Road Race, which takes place on Sunday, May 19. One of the longest standing events on the Ontario calendar, the race covers a 12.4 km loop through rural Pelham, ON and ascends the infamous “Saylor’s hill” on Effingham St. each lap.
This year we have a new venue for the start/finish, with a new finish line location that while not atop the steepest part of Effingham is still an uphill finish and should provide for exciting and tactical racing. There is $5000 in cash on the line with significant payouts for both Elite 1/2 Men and Women (equal to 10 deep).
Registration is open and is available online HERE.
Please check out the technical guide posted HERE for information about the course, parking, accommodations, etc.
If booking with any of the Heart of Niagara hotels listed in the tech guide, please reference “Niagara Classic” for a race specific rate.
