November 26, 2003 – CFEpr+, a Communications firm with locations in Southern California and New York City, has formed a strategic partnership with Trixter North America to launch and implement a global communications plan for the new Trixter X-Bike indoor cycle and X-Biking instructor training program.
The Trixter X-Bike indoor cycle utilizes a state-of-the-art design that brings a full body mountain bike-style ride to what previously was a lower body-only cardiovascular workout. The X-Bike cockpit features a unique patent-pending X-Bar handlebar system that articulates from side-to-side to replicate the true action of out-of-the-saddle climbing and maneuvering. The combination of upper and lower body conditioning provides a new, more complete workout for indoor cycling enthusiasts helping them meet their fitness goals more quickly and with a lot more fun.
“I was floored by the potential of the X-Bike when Trixter's founder, Michael Rice, visited the mountain bike World Cup at Telluride, Colorado in 2001,” states Steve Boehmke of CFEpr+. “It's a pleasure to be chosen to provide the Communications and Public Relations for the launch of this revolutionary training bike.”
Trixter North America is headed up by Rick Sutton, cofounder of the Sea Otter Classic and many other topnotch competitive cycling events. Cycling industry veteran Alec Dinner is the National Sales Director, and Jeannie Pruitt is the Certified X-Biking Program Manager and Marketing Coordinator. Rounding out the management team for Trixter North America is former World Downhill Champion and Exercise Physiologist Missy Giove, who serves as the Master X-BikingTInstructor and Trainer, and will be appearing at Trixter-certified gyms all around the country.
“The X-Bike shifts the paradigm of indoor cycling by creating a completely immersive experience,” says Jackson Lynch of CFEpr+. “Instead of sitting in the saddle and droning on and on, the Trixter X-Bike makes you feel like you are swooping through twisty singletrack, climbing on fire roads, and bombing across ridge lines. Before you know it, your workout is done, and you've gotten a full-body benefit. The programs, instructor development efforts, and product itself combine to create a long-term fitness plan that is set to take the indoor exercise market by storm.”
“We selected CFEpr+ to provide global communications for Trixter due to Jackson and Boehmke's proven experience in launching and supporting top notch companies and products,” mentioned Rick Sutton, CEO of Trixter North America. “With success at Trek, Nokia, Shimano, RLX, Polo.com, RockShox and Giant, their track record speaks for itself. We look forward to great things to come from this new relationship.”
CFEpr+ provides Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and Product and Business solutions to companies in the Action Sports Industries.
