January 31, 2007 – Cycling BC is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Lund as Assistant Provincial Team Coach and Victoria-based Regional Development Coach.

Steve will work primarily with Team BC and potential Team BC athletes based in Victoria and on Vancouver Island in preparation for Western Canada Games and other Team BC projects. Cycling BC Regional Coaches will focus on development, getting more young riders together for regular rides and training camps and to connect any young riders with a club and/ or coach in
their area.

Open training sessions will be run in Victoria on Tuesday and Saturday through March with more group training opportunities in the spring. If you would like to participate in these sessions, or have questions about training and racing please contact Steve Lund, steve@cycling.bc.ca or at
