March 25, 2015 (Vancouver, B.C.) – Paul Nash, Deputy General Manager of Giant Canada is excited to announce that Canada’s newest Giant store will be located in Langley, B.C . Currently under construction, the new 3,000 square-foot store is just minutes from Willowbrook Mall and located at 20353 64^th avenue. The initial opening is set to take place on Friday, April 3^rd with an official Grand Opening to follow at a later date.

Chris Ryskamp, a long-time manager of a Giant dealer in Tsawwassen, spear-headed this new partnership when he saw the massive potential in the Langley area for a quality bike shop, “With the momentum behind the Giant brand right now and the population growth in Langley, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to open a Giant Store.” Besides his passion and enthusiasm, Chris brings with him over 10 years of experience in the cycling industry and tight ties to the Langley community having lived there for the past 19 years.

When the doors open to Giant Langley in April, it will become the 7^th Giant store in Canada and the 2^nd on the West Coast. “We have seen great success with our Giant stores across the country. Having worked with Chris in Delta, there’s no doubt in my mind that he will continue that tradition,” says Steve Devantier, the Giant Retail Partner Specialist in Canada. “The goal with our Giant stores is not only to raise brand awareness, but also to raise the level of retail, giving the consumer the best possible experience.”
