October 18, 2006 – Tomorrow a new exhibit will open at the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, In Her Footsteps … Celebrating BC Women in Sport. This new exhibit will feature an interactive video display with interviews and archival footage of the honourees. Three new honourees will be announced on October 19 and will join the existing 31 women who will be honoured in the permanent display.

In Her Footsteps is the result of a partnership between the Provincial Ministry of Community Services, ProMOTION Plus, 2010 Legacies Now, the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum and the BC Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health.
