September 17, 2003 – A brand new TV Channel based in Britain with Thames Wharf Studios and dedicated to broadcasting cycling went live on Monday, September 15. The TV Channel is accesible by broadband internet at cycling.tv or also at  www.cycling.tv and although accessed via the internet it is not a website.

cycling.tv will broadcast a schedule of highlights and live events. The channel is there to serve all cyclists in all corners of the world regardless of their discipline: road, track, MTB, BMX, trials, if it is good bike action cycling.tv will cover it. In the coming week new programming and action will be scheduled in and broadcast in all these cycling disciplines.

The TV Channel  is simple to use and anyone with a highspeed broadband connection and a PC will get instant action straight to their computer monitor, TV screen or plasma screen. By simply clicking the TV Mode button cycling.tv  will give  full screen action.The TV Channel's superb technology  identifies the PC users bandwidth capability and broadcasts at the appropriate speed up to 800k.

Viewers can log in and register their chosen cycling interest by simply clicking a box. They will automatically be up dated as to when events in their discipline will be broadcast.
