April 1, 2007 – Georgia Gould (USA) Luna Women’s MTB Team has won the XC Elite Women’s race today making it a sweep as she won the TT and the Short Track events as well this weekend. Wendy Simms (Kona) was the top Canadian in 6th with Alison Sydor (Can) Rocky Mountain/Haywood finishing 9th and Catherine Pendrel (Can) Norco Factory Team 13th. Heat was a factor today on the twisty 16.05km course.
