November 23, 2008 (Southampton, New York) – Canada’s Lyne Bessette (Can) Cyclocrossworld.Com and Natasha Elliot (Can) Emd Serono/Stevens both landed on the podium in yesterday’s North American Cyclocross Trophy #7/Whitmore’s Landscaping Super Cross Cup in Southampton, New York, placing second and third, respectively. Bessette came out of retirement for some ‘cross fun, started last, but quickly moved up into medal contention. Georgia Gould (USA) Luna Women’s Team took the women’s win.

In the men’s race, Ryan Trebon (USA) Kona/FSA won by a whopping 49s over Jeremy Powers (USA) Cannondale/Cyclocrossworld.Com. Todd Wells (USA) Team G.T. took third, while Canada’s Derrick St. John (Can) Stevens Cyclocross eked out a top 10.
