MIVA Boxwood Criterium – May 8
Best turnout so far this season. Eleven at the start including nine seniors, one youth and one woman. The start was faster than usual and Brodie Hay (Cadet) and Glenda Harling (Women) were soon dropped, but carried on at their own pace, joining in with the fast-moving bunch each time they were lapped. The first and second primes were both won by Ian Smith who also took first place from Iain Hay, Sean Lunny and Mike Sevcov. 24 laps in 43:56, average speed – 36.05kph. Thanks to Ed Henderson, Kristy Mighton, Iain Hay and Brodie Hay for help with registration, set-up and lap board (new).
