April 10, 2012 (Sacramento, CA) – Sam Whittingham of Quadra Island, BC’s Naked Cycles was on hand at the 2012 North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) in Sacramento, where he had several of his original creations on display, including the surprise Mountain Bike category winner, his new Road Adventure Series, and the bikes he and a friend rode to the show. Whittingham has picked up numerous awards at the show over the years for his creative and ingenious approach to bicycle building. A former Canadian National Team track cyclist, Whittingham also holds several world human-powered speed vehicle records, which he logged on recumbent bicycles.
