December 8, 2009 – Gestev’s Mont-Sainte-Anne UCI MTB World Cup event was voted the top event of the year by the IMTTO (International Mountainbike Teams, Tech support and Organisers). Other Canadian events that made the list are Crankworx Whistler in 12th place and the Bromont World Cup in 18th. IMTTO is an organisation that was formed in 2001, and that currently represents International Mountain Bike Teams, Technical Support companies and Event Organisers. IMTTO is an international non-profit organisation that contributes to the greater good of the sport of mountain biking. IMTTO is recognised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
