December 11, 2006 – Here are some stories about team news that we’re following in la Belle Province. Équipe de la Vallée de l’aluminium (EVA) has announced its roster for 2007: Éric Boily, Frédéric Boivin, Joël Dion-Poitras, Bruno Langlois, Mathieu Roy, Charles Thibeault, Mathieu Toulouse and Raphaël Tremblay are member of its continental team. Junior team members include Simon Brassard, Stéphane Cossette, Lenny Dion and David Maltais on the men’s side while Raphaëlle Chrétien, Gabrielle Duchesne and Janie Fortin will ride for the junior female team. Alexandre Lavallée is EVA’s directeur sportif.

André Cycle/idCAD has also released its full 2007 team roster that includes Quebec road champ, Guillaume Boivin, Simon Lambert-Lemay, and Cédric Bourgeois as returning members. New members include, Charles Alexandre Cloutier, Marc Dugas, Pierre Alexandre Marquette, and Arnaud Papillon. Jacques Barriault is the team manager.

Calyon LiteSpeed will also soon announce its 2007 roster, reports Veloptimum after talking to team president, Bernard Vives. Jean-Sébastien Perron will be staying with Calyon, despite attempts to recruit him to EVA. Calyon is apparently negotiating with two German cyclists and the team also plans more races in the USA.
