March 13, 2019 (Montreal, Que) – Cycle Babac Inc. announces the purchase of the Bicycle Division of Genesis Cycle Inc. The purchase includes the Genesis and Hutch brands of Bicycles and other brands, as well as parts and accessories.

Established in 1933, 85 years ago, Cycle Babac is a well-known and trusted distributor of bicycle parts and accessories across Canada. The acquisition of the Genesis brands will greatly expand our product diversity and make Cycle Babac a “One-Stop” supplier for the Independent Bicycle Dealer (IBD).

Babac is committed to maintaining the bicycle brands that Genesis Cycle has established and growing the business for the future. Babac will be shipping out to two locations: Montreal, Quebec and Weston, Ontario. To supplement this growth, Babac has expanded its Sales Force to include the Sales Representatives from Genesis Cycle.

Our people are available to assist you with your orders or any inquiries you may have. For orders, you can continue to contact your usual salesperson. Sales representatives acquired from Genesis Cycle Inc. will also be selling Babac parts and accessories.
