Montreal Women\’s World Cup Wins Ulysses Prize

March 9th, 2004 – Montreal Women's World Cup Cycling is the laureate of the Ulysses Prize for the best tourist event – budget under $500,000 in the Montreal area for the second year in a row. The prize was handed out on March 4 at The Grands Prix du Tourisme 2004 gala evening. Montreal is the only city in all of American to host a road World Cup. M. Daniel Manibal, the organization's president and general director thanked the Montreal community for its support as well as the media for their involvement in the international recognition of the event.
