June 14, 2010 (Blaine, MN) – Here are some photos from the MN Fixed Gear Classic, which brought world-class track cycling to the NSC Velodrome on the weekend as a prelude to the prestigious Nature Valley Grand Prix – the Midwest’s largest celebration of cycling – which kicks off June 16.
The MN Fixed Gear Classic pitted professional and elite amateur track cyclists in fast-paced sprint and grueling endurance events, including Canadian Jet Fuel riders. The 2010 MN Fixed Gear Classic featured a unique dual Omnium program that showcased separate competitions for sprinters and endurance specialists. Cross-over races brought sprinters and distance racers together in search of Omnium points.
