January 08, 2015 (Milton, ON) – The Organizing Committee (TO2015) and Cycling Canada invite all National Federations to participate in the Milton International Challenge. A total of nine countries will be competing at the Cisco PanAm Velodrome including Canada, USA, Jamaica, Trinidad, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, and the United Kingdom. This C1-class track event will represents a unique opportunity for riders to acquaint themselves with the Cisco Milton Pan Am/Parapan Am Velodrome, the venue for track cycling events at the TORONTO 2015 Games. There will also be at least $5,000 in prize money available.

The team sprint and pursuite event will be held on Friday, Jan. 9, while the fast-paced individual sprints will be featured on Saturday, Jan. 10. The sprinters will then race shoulder to shoulder in the Keirin on the last day of competition, Sunday, Jan 11.

The event will include a full program of Olympic sprint and endurance events for men and women, including:

• omnium
• sprint
• keirin
• team pursuit
• team sprint

The program will also include several non-Olympic events to ensure athletes have a full weekend of competition.
