July 9, 2010 (Toronto, ON) – La Bicicletta Elite Team’s Ed Veal set a new mark for 2010 with a season record 19:18.7 ET at the TNTT.  Peter Morse from Jet Fuel Coffee followed exactly 1 minute later, and Heath Cockburn completed the podium less than 2 seconds behind Morse. Merrill Collins was the fastest woman, and 4th overall at 21:27.  The fastest Eddy Merckx style racer was Bob Haufler at 23:30.

Conditions were hot (29C) and humid (66%) with an unhelpful wind from the north at 18 kph. Good Luck to everyone at the Peterborough ITT on Saturday, see you next week.

June 11, 2010 – Tonight’s winner, Ed Veal, set the 2010 course record for the year so far with a commanding 19:22 ride at the La Bicicletta/Midweek CC TNTT. This time bests the overall fastest time last year, 19:25, which was set on 20JUL2009 by Bryan Wolff. Way to go, Ed! Not an especially friendly wind tonight either, being 19C and blowing from the usual NW at 13 kph. Dave Frake and Heath Cockburn filled out the podium. Good job everyone.
