March 18, 2006 — In our Melbourne 2006 – Day 3 Report regarding Travis Smith winning the bronze medal in the men’s sprint our report stated, “After Edgar had edged out the Canadian national champion in the first heat, Smith was leading the second with just 25m to go when Edgar barged into his right leg.” To clarify, Smith is the Canadian national Kilo champion, while Cam Mackinnon is Canada’s national Sprint champ. We have corrected our report and thank Spencer C. Royds for his email regarding this clarification.
