January 19, 2004 – Members of the media will have the opportunity to meet and interview several 2004 U.S. Olympic hopefuls in men's and women's road cycling as both the T-Mobile Professional Cycling Team and the United States Postal Service Pro Cycling Team each announced plans for a media day near Solvang, Calif. on Friday, January 23, 2004.

The T-Mobile Professional Cycling Team will first host a media luncheon for members of the press at the Rancho Santa Barbara Marriott in nearby Buellton, Calif. from 11:00am-2:00pm.

Available to the media for interviews will be 2003 Pan American Games Gold Medalist and four-time U.S. National Champion, Kimberly Bruckner (Boulder, Colo.), 2000 Olympic Silver Medalist and World Champion, Mari Holden (Colorado Springs, Colo.), top-ranked U.S. rider, Amber Neben (Irvine, Calif.), 2003 Pan American Games Gold Medalist, Tanya Lindenmuth (Trexlertown, Pa.), several other Olympic hopefuls including Dede Barry (Boulder, Colo.) and Kristin Armstrong (Boise, Idaho) and the remainder of the T-Mobile Professional Cycling Team.

Following the media luncheon hosted by T-Mobile, five-time Tour de France winner, Lance Armstrong (Austin, Texas) will hold a press conference at 3:30pm at the Royal Scandinavian Inn in Solvang.

Afterwards, members of the press will have the opportunity to conduct one-on-one interviews with all other members of the United States Postal Service Pro Cycling Team including 2000 Olympians, George Hincapie (Greenville, S.C.) and Antonio Cruz (Long Beach, Calif.) and several other 2004 U.S. Olympic hopefuls, Floyd Landis (San Diego, Calif.), Patrick McCarty (Allen, Texas), Michael Creed (Colorado Springs, Colo.), David Zabriskie, (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Damon Kluck (Santa Cruz, Calif.)
