May 07, 2012 (Silver City, New Mexico) – Mathieu Roy crashed on Sunday on a descent during the final Stage 5 of the 26th annual SRAM Tour of the Gila. Team Ekoi-Gaspesien reports that Roy was hospitalized and has suffered two broken ribs and a broken collar bone. Roy is scheduled to be released from hospital this morning.
