June 22, 2006 – Just a final reminder that the MASI-ADOBE Bicycles for Humanity July 2nd Cypress hill Climb is fast approaching. Check out our race poster attached, compliments of Vince Lee and Contact Printing. The race promises to be exciting and well attended and we have secured some fabulous prizes, not the least, a chance to win a Masi Gran Criterium frameset graciously provided by Masi Bikes!

We are offering all the major race categories and for those of you who are not aware, all funds collected will be donated to Bicycles for Humanity, a charity that collects and ships used and discarded bicycles to Africa. For our efforts, the team has just received a thank you email from none other than Paul Sherwen, one of the voices of the Tour de France and an official friend of Bicycles for Humanity. www.bicycles-for-humanity.org/

The Hill Climb isn’t all, we are also organising a fun dinner event at the Templeton Diner on Granville Street the evening of July 2nd. Cost is $20 and again this is a fundraiser for Bicycles for Humanity . Pat Montani, founder of Bicycles for Humanity, will be on hand to tell us about his plans for the Vancouver area and we will be showing Breaking Away (a nod to Masi, our sponsor) and of course the Tour de France will have just started.
