March 30, 2012 (London, ON) – It’s been three years since the tragic passing of one of the Forest City Velodrome’s most active volunteers. Mary Kelly was a tireless volunteer who looked after staffing the Concession on Race nights as well as conducting many Track 1 sessions for new riders. Mary will be missed.
The Forest City Velodrome would like to extend an invitation to you to come down to London on Saturday night March 31st for the Mary Kelly Memorial race night. The feature race of the night is a 99-lap endurance race for women. Past winners include, Candice Vermuelen (St. Catherines), Kim Edwards (USA). There will be racing for all categories, racing includes Sprints, Endurance and Madisons.
Youth racers to Elite racers will be ripping up the boards for your enjoyment.
Racing begins at 7pm and promises to be very exciting.
Entry Fee $20.00
Adult admission is $10.00, Seniors $5.00, Kids are always FREE.
