October 8, 2004 – Mark November 20th down on your calendars! On that night, the OCA will be hosting the fifth annual Cycling Celebration. This year, it will be held in conjunction with the CCA’s Annual General Meeting (taking place from the 19thto 22nd in Toronto). This event will be a great opportunity to celebrate the year and meet and mingle with Ontario and Canada’s cycling community.

To date, the OCA has received confirmation that Olympic silver medallist Marie-Helene Premont will be attending the festivities at the Olympic Spirit in Downtown Toronto.

Tickets for this evening will be going on sale in two weeks and will be sold through the OCA office. Jim Crosscombe, the OCA’s president, stated, “With this being an Olympic year, we are excited and privileged to host Canada’s Olympians at our Cycling Celebration. To tie this in with our Ontario Awards will make for a truly inspiring evening.”All proceeds from the night will be going towards the development of the OCA’s Junior Racing and Sprockids programs.Curt Harnett will be the master of ceremonies.
