October 22, 2013 – On Sunday, October 27, at 6:00 pm Bicycles Plus, situated in Bedford, Nova Scotia will stage their first “Ladies Only Night.” The Event is open to ladies only, of all ages and cycling abilities, and the goal is to educate, assist, promote and celebrate ladies cycling in Metro Halifax, and the surrounding HRM.

The evening will hosted at Bicycles Plus, 1248 Bedford Highway, in Bedford and will feature four lady presenters of mixed age and cycling backgrounds.

During the evening they will cover topics such as cycling for fitness, commuting, and competitive cycling. Other topics covered will be Bike Mechanics 101, Cycling Comfort 101, as well as information on where to ride, and what groups to ride with in Metro depending on the terrain, distance, and speed you prefer.
