December 18, 2006 – The University of Toronto-Ryerson radio station 89.5 FM’s morning news will have a live panel on the mandatory helmet motion which passed Queen’s Park this past Thursday.

On air with host Rebecca Penty will be John Milloy, MPP For Kitchener Centre, who presented the private member’s motion, and Charles Akben-Marchand, President of Ottawa’s Citizens for Safe Cycling, who will provide the arguments against mandatory helmets–arguments that were entirely missing last Thursday in the legislature.

Those in Toronto can tune in to 89.5 FM between 9:10am and 9:20am.
