May 11, 2006 – The sprinters are featured this weekend at the Forest City Velodrome.

Lightning Fast, and speeds over 60kph will be demonstrated this Saturday night. The Elite Tournament will test the Top 8 qualifying riders, each rider will have to advance through the 3 rounds of sprint action to win our 3rd Night of speed at the Velodrome.

Racing begins at 7pm, In addition to the sprinters the London Track League & Nas-Track Madison League will be racing in the Program.

In addition, the Forest City Velodrome is honoured to have racing this Saturday night,, 2 of our young up and coming Espoire riders, who will be attending a selection camp next week for the Pan-Am Championships. Adam Thuss (Stratford) & Eric Robertson (Brantford) have a very good opportunity on making the team which will compete in South America early in June.

The Velodrome will have a presentation early in the program for these 2 talented riders. These are the first of many riders from the F C V to go to Camps to be able to represent Canada on the International stage.

Both Adam & Eric will be racing on Saturday night as a final tune-up for the Camp next week.
