January 22, 2007 – Bicycle Newfoundland & Labrador is offering a Level 1 Road Coaching Course, February 24-25. Interested in becoming a coach, or want to learn more about the sport for yourself or your young athlete?

Luc Arseneau, National Team coach from the Atlantic Cycling Centre in Dieppe, NB will be covering the following topics as well as sharing stories from his own experiences as a professional cyclist and coach.

The course will cover:

– Organization and Rules of Cycling
– Equipment
– Clothing
– Position
– Riding Skills
– Tactics/Strategy
– Diet and Race Feeding
– Training
– Health and Injury

Course cost: $50
Course time: 9am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday
