Les Cedres Grand Prix

June 28, 2007 – The Quebec Road Paracycling Championships will be held August 05, 2007 in Les Cedres, Quebec. Les Cedres is near Valleyfield, between Montreal and Toronto. Take exit 26 from Quebec Highway 20 (which connects with Ontario Highway 401). At stop sign, turn left on chemin St-Féréol (Road) toward the town of Les Cedres, continuing straight to chemin du Fleuve (River Road) At chemin du Fleuve, turn left and you will see rue Valade (Street) on your left. Parking will be at the Pavillon des Bénévoles building. Parking spots in front of the building are reserved for paracyclists

Start in front of the municipal dock on Chemin du Fleuve going west, then turning on Chemin St-Féréol until Montée Marson then right, then left on St-Grégoire and right on Chicoine and right again on St-Antoine and right on Chemin du Fleuve coming back to the start/finish line.

– 10:05 a.m. Master B — 4 loops, 80 kms
– 10:10 a.m. Masters C (D) – 3 tours – 60 km / 10:10 Master C (D) — 3 loops, 60 kms
– 10 :15 a.m. Hand cycling- 2 tours 40km ; CP1-2 – 1 tour / 10:15 handcycling – 2 loops — 40 km ; CP 1 -2 — 1 tour
– 13:30 p.m. Senior 1-2 H – 7 tours – 140 km 13h30 Senior 1 -2 H — 7 loops, 140 kms
– 1:35 p.m. Junior H, Senior 3 H — 5 loops — 100 km
– 1:40 p.m. Senior 1 — 2 F — 4 loops
– 1:40 p.m. Senior 3 F, Master E, Master F — 3 loops — 60 km
– 1:50 p.m. Tandem — 4 loops — 80 km
– 1:50 p.m. LC1 — 4, CP3-4, 3 loops — 60 km

Specific rules: No sweep car on the circuit.

It is not permitted to go on the left side of the yellow line or to use the bicycle path on St-Féréol Road. Either infraction will be cause for automatic disqualification.

Notes: Massage therapy will be available on site at an affordable cost.

Canteen (snack bar) will be available on site.

On line licence: Provincial license is mandatory

Please note that participants who have requested their license by Internet and have not yet received it must bring the two following documents:

– confirmation of request on line
– proof-of-payment receipt from the credit union or bank.

You can also make your request by Internet, then bring two copies of the request confirmation made on line, together with a cheque. We will stamp your receipt, validating it until you receive your license. A confirmation request on line that has NOT been stamped will not be valid for cyclists to take part in the race.
