Leah Goldstein Suffers Injuries at Cascade Classic

July 16, 2005 – Israeli-licenced rider and BC resident, Leah Goldstein, riding for the Trek-Red Truck Beer Team has suffered serious injuries in following a crash in the first stage of the Cascade Classic last week. The quiet, well-liked Goldstein was descending at high-speed when she was involved in a crash. Currently in a Bend, Oregon hospital nursing numerous injures including a broken pelvis, humorus, ribs, and shoulder, the always-tanned Goldstein is in good spirits, and vows to be back next year, stronger then ever!

Goldstein sports an impressive history, rarely off the top step of the podium wherever she competes.
