July 24, 2008 – Looking for something exciting to do on the long weekend? Come down to Main Street Bowness on Monday, August 4th and check out the 2008 le Tour de Bowness. The Main Street businesses of Bowness are hosting their 7th annual Criterium, “le Tour de Bowness” on Monday, August 4. Races begin at 9:00am and finish at 3:00pm, immediately followed by an awards ceremony.

The three stage “Le Tour de Bowness” also includes a Hill Climb Time Trial at Canada Olympic Park Saturday August 2, from 6:00 to 9:00pm and a Road Race Northwest of Cochrane at Weedon Community Hall (Hwy 22 and Big Hill Springs Road) Sunday, August 3 from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
