January 31, 2007 (Montreal, QC) РThe F̩d̩ration qu̩b̩coise des sports cyclistes (FQSC) over the years has trained many coaches in different cycling disciplines: road, track, and mountain bike. A few hundred of these have obtained their level 1, 2 or 3 certification and some of these have obtained their level 4 certification from the National Coaching Institute (known in French as the Institut national de formation des entrąneurs or INFE) in Montreal.

Because the world of cycling is in constant evolution, the FQSC will hold a conference for cycling coaches on March 3rd and 4th at the Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont. Speakers (and the themes addressed) include: Yannik Morin (training for strength), Ian Hughes & Éric Van Den Eynde (long term development for athletes), Sylvie Béliveau (training for women), and Guy Thibault (everything you always wanted to know).
