June 16, 2006 – On-line registration closes at 5 p.m. today for the 8th annual Tim Horton’s Great Lake to Lake mountain bike event this Sunday, June 18th. Over 1,000 riders are already signed up to race in six different wave starts from the shores of Lake Erie starting at 11 a.m.

The popular 50 km citizens event winds its way from Port Colborne to the shores of Port Dalhousie where it finishes on the beach with an incredible party atmosphere.

A catered meal awaits with a beer tent, chip timing, event t-shirt, huge draw prizes, two feed zones, 15 police officers and over 100 volunteers – this is a “must-do” MTB event!

Absolute last chance to register will be in person Saturday afternoon from 12 to 4 pm at the Tim Horton’s in Port Dalhousie.

The course is dry and the weather outstanding – don’t miss it!
