May 9, 2011 (Port Colborne, ON) – Lake to Lake Events Inc is pleased to announce that registration is now fully open. New for 2011 is the addition of an ELITE WAVE for men and women. A $1000 first place cheque is on the line as the racers will battle one of the most scenic and entertaining point to point courses in Ontario. The new wave will pay ten deep on both sides and guarantee a new breed of racers lining up in Port Colborne on Father’s Day June 19th.

The Giant Bicycles Great Lake to Lake mountain bike classic (50k) is in it’s 13th year and now with the additon of the Great Wolf Lodge Pond to Pond race ( 22k), there is something for every mountain biker to enjoy on Father’s Day.

The highlights (besides the new $) include a catered meal on the beach, chip timing, event t-shirts, catergory winners jerseys and medals, bus service to the start, fully policed course and Giant bicycles draw prizes at the end.
