May 31, 2007 — Again this year La Coupe de la Paix will be held June 20-25, right after “Le Tour de Beauce” (June 12-17). La Coupe de la Paix works in partnership with the “Les Mardis Cyclistes Saputo de Lachine” who have a National Sanction for their event on June 19 this year with $4,775 in prize money as part of celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2007.

La Coupe de la Paix

– four stages – $8,000 each day – ($5,000 men/$3,000 women)
– plus $8,000 for G.C ($5,000 men/$3,000 women)
– total prize money is $40,000

It’s a point race so it’s possible to choose the stages you want to enter.

– Wednesday, June 20 – Laval
– Thursday, June 21 – Mascouche
– Friday, June 22 – off
– Saturday, June 23 – off – riders can race at the Saturn Rochester Twilight Criterium
РSunday, June 24 РMontr̩al-Nord
– Monday, June 25 – Blainville

Note: there is no race on Saturday, June 23 so riders will be able to participate at the Saturn Rochester Twilight Criterium.
