September 24, 2004 – Anyone using a Kryptonite 2000 U-Lock should be wary as it’s apparently quite easy to hack the Kryptonite Evolution 2000 U- Lock with a standard ballpoint pen. The $50 lock was reputed to be one of the best for “toughest bicycle security in moderate to high crime areas” but now this appears not to be the case.
