March 16, 2011 (White Rock, BC) – Tour de White Rock is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an amateur hill climb race presented by Just Giver 4PD Cycling Club during the prestigious BC Superweek on July 15.

The unique and exciting hill climb will see heats of four racers go head-to-head on the 700m climb on the same course as the pro races up Buena Vista. The rider with the best time will take victory. There will be an amateur women’s race and an amateur men’s competition.

Just Giver 4PD is a club made up of a diverse group of men and women of all ages who share a passion for cycling with the goal of promoting recreational and competitive cycling in our communities, having fun and raising awareness for those affected by Parkinson’s, while encouraging physical activity and involvement for those affected by PD.
