June 18, 2003 – Here's an update on the Coast-to-Coast Riders – they'll be in Mississauga, ON soon…
– The riders remain ahead of schedule
– They are expected to arrive in Mississauga at approx NOON p.m. this coming Friday, June 20
– A group of riders is meeting them in Hamilton and will take them into Mississauga
– We'd like you to join the group that will take them EAST towards Toronto, as far as you want to go!! (They will be travelling on Lakeshore until they join Highway #2 and then will follow #2)
– Police escort is expected (though you'll still have to stop at red lights!)
The meeting place will be Starbucks, just east of GEARS, before the bridge in Port Credit (next to Helen's).
Meet there ready to ride at approx noon p.m.. The riders will take a short break to hug their kids and then move on … hopefully, with your help!
Please confirm your interest in joining the group. If you send me telephone numbers (maybe your mobile), I could communicate with you on Friday if their anticipated arrival/departure time changes by more than about 40 minutes. In the meantime, don't hesitate to contact me by email or phone for any clarification. They will welcome the pull and your sheer presence will lift their speed … and spirits.
