April 27, 2013 (Fayetteville, AR) – Canada’s Joelle Numainville (Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies) came out on top at the 108.8km Stage 3 road race besting race leader Claudia Haeusler ( Team TIBCO-to the Top) in second with Mia Loquai (ISCorp p/b Intelligentsia Coff) in third. Numainville is now 4th overall with fellow Canuck Lex Albrecht (NOW and Novartis for MS) right behind in 5th after placing 6th on today’s stage.

In the men’s 185km race Canada’s Michael Woods (Garneau-Quebecor) was just off the podium in 4th as Robin Carpenter (Hincapie Sportswear Development) took the win. Fellow Canuck Nic Hamilton (Jelly Belly p/b Kenda) was a strong 9th and sits 7th overall behind race leader Chad Haga (Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies).
