In 2009, The Ride To Conquer Cancer rolled out for the first time to British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec in addition to the 2nd Annual Ride in Ontario. All told 8,428 riders from nine provinces, 17 states and six countries each raised over $2500 and rode in excess of 200 km for a cause that touches so many of us. Amazingly, The Ride To Conquer Cancer raised over $34 million to fund critical cancer research programs and initiatives across Canada.
The camaraderie shared by riders, volunteers, and supporters is The Ride’s greatest attribute. Doctors and scientists and cancer support staff from across the country joined their patients and rode for a unified goal…To Conquer Cancer In Our Lifetime.
