April 17, 2013 – Louis Garneau is seeking a Product Manager for cycling gloves and socks. Under the supervision of the Accessory division Director, the Product Manager following the mandates of the Product Selection Committee, ensures the development of new products as well as the existing products (cycling gloves and socks). He or she must establish technical specifications and negotiate with suppliers.

Job Description

More precisely, he/she must:

– Study tendencies, propose new products to the Selection Committee and ensure the development of products while respecting prices, margins, quality, delivery dates and technical specifications determined by the Product Selection Committee;

– Ensure an efficient and consistent planning of product development and manufacture while maintaining timelines, namely through communications and overseas travels;

– Prepare the drafting of required documents such as technical drawings and specifications, inspection and acceptance documents, descriptive texts and product manuals.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is passionate about the cycling industry and is a cycling enthusiast.He or she has a pertinent college or university degree. The retained candidate must be willing to and must be perfectly fluent in English.
