May 10, 2011 (Montreal, QC) – Under the supervision of the Director, Athlete and Training Group Services, the High Performance Advisor assumes responsibilities for the supervision, coordination and support to athletes, training groups and partners (sport federations, regional training centres) in the following service areas: Sport Medicine, Sport Science, Life and Professional Services.

The main duties of the position are: inform, advise and support CNMM’s clients in the optimization of CNMM services; support targeted sport’s Integrated Support Teams (IST); advise Quebec sport federations in the implementation of CNMM’s Sport Medicine and Sport Science Support Program targeted to the next generation of athletes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Sport Administration or in a related field and/or a combination of training and relevant experience. A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a coach or in a related field, with management of experts and staff, ideally in a high performance sport environment. Weekend availability and scheduling flexibility is required. Very good knowledge of provincial and national high performance sport system. Very good oral and written French and English language skills. Very strong abilities in information technology tools (Microsoft Office Suite). Good knowledge of the Canadian High Performance coach training programs (certified and certified advanced) and of High Performance Sport Coaching. Good knowledge of Sport Medicine and Sport Science.

Salary Range: Un salaire annuel à partir de $42 550 ainsi qu’un programme d’avantages sociaux seront offerts au candidat retenu
