Job Description: Centre For Coaching Education of New Brunswick Executive Director

General Responsibilities: The executive director is the only employee of this non-governmental, not-for-profit sport association whose mission is to enhance coaching education and development throughout New Brunswick. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, multi-talented individual who “¢ understands the National Coaching Certification Program and its importance to sport development, especially for young people “¢ has the planning and administrative skills to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the NCCP “¢ has strong inter-personal skills that will allow him/her to work well with various partners in the delivery of the NCCP and in New Brunswick’s sport system “¢ manage the financial and administrative affairs of the Centre (eg. planning, budgeting, correspondence, updating policy manuals, data base management, etc.) “¢ has a track record as a self-starter who can work under the strategic plan and policies established by a volunteer board

Qualifications: The Centre is seeking a person who “¢ is a university graduate (kinesiology/sport management preferred) “¢ has at least 5 years of related experience in sport “¢ writes and speaks well in both official languages “¢ has a solid understanding of coaching and volunteer sport organizations “¢ has computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) “¢ will work out of our Fredericton office but is prepared to travel

Salary and Benefits: Full time position for one year with possibility of renewal. The salary and benefits are negotiable.
