The International Cycling Union is the International Federation of Cycling. Its mission is to manage and develop world cycling (Road, Track, Mountain Biking, BMX, Cyclo-Cross, Trials, Indoor Cycling and Para-cycling) and represent the interests of National Federations from 170 countries. It is based in Aigle, at the World Cycling Centre (WCC).
The Administrative Service of the International Cycling Union combines former cycling champions’ experience and knowledge of the sport with the skills of professional experts.

Strong service-minded attitude and appropriate business experience are essential as much as excellent language skills (English and French).
The UCI is looking to recruit a Manager for its Sports Department.
Job description:
– The Sports Department groups together the following units: Track, Mountain Biking, Paracycling, Trials, Indoor Cycling, Cycling for All, Commissaires.
– Each unit is responsible for the international administration of its discipline, promotes its development and supervises the organisation of the World Championships and the World Cups.
– The Sports Department Manager supervises the activities of 15 staff members. He /she is responsible for the coordination, management of resources and the planning of his/her department.
– Reporting to the Director General, he/she has a key role in putting forward proposals to develop the disciplines concerned.
Profile:
– You have high-level training and professional experience of at least 5 years.
– You have excellent knowledge of project management and have recognised experience in the organisation of international sports events and how to manage a team.
– You are skilled in personal relations, speak French and English fluently and can write in the two languages.
– You are flexible and available to travel.
Deputy Manager for its Marketing Services
Job description:
The Marketing Deputy Manager has a key role in the service and is mainly responsible for the following tasks:
– Follow-up and setting of objectives to optimize promotion and communications for partner sponsors and the media at UCI sports events (World Championships and World Cups).
– Reporting (studies, analyses, audience impact, media coverage, etc) and follow-up of the results of advertising campaigns and operations for partner sponsors, in the traditional supports (TV, press, radio) and new technology (Internet, VOD, mobile).
– Management of partner sponsorships with the objective of optimizing the performance and profitability of all activities in the cooperation programmes.
– Creation and follow-up of new supports and advertising formats.
Profile:
– High level of training in marketing.
– Successful experience of at least 5 years in sports marketing with a top agency in the field or in an international sports federation.
– Bilingual French-English (able to draft texts independently).
– Totally proficient using MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook).
– Dynamic, motivated and flexible.
– Ability to summarise and analyse.
– Thorough and organised.
