Jittery Joe\’s-Kalahari Heading to BC Superweek

July 7, 2005 -The Jittery Joe’s -Kalahari Team will head west to compete in two of British Columbia’s biggest races in July, the Tour of the Delta and the Tour de Gastown criterium. Jittery Joe’s has sent a few riders in the past to these races, but this is the first time the team will send a full contingent. “While we don’t sell Jittery Joe’s Coffee or Kalahari FruitTrekker bars in Canada yet, we don’t get a chance to head west too often,” says Micah Rice, the team’s General Manager. “We are sending a team for the first time to the Cascade Classic, and since we have everyone out there, we might as well
make a big trip of it. Gastown has always been a great race and Jeff Hopkins has been on the podium there before, so we are excited to be sending a full team this year.” The Bean Team contingent will consist of Jeff Hopkins, Tim Johnson, Jesse Lawler, Craig Wilcox, Jonny Sundt, Evan Elken, and Bruno Langlois. Bruno will be in British Columbia the week before at the Canadian National
Championships.
