November 2, 2003 – Cycling BC member Jeremy Storie was recently selected as
Coach of the Month by the Coaching Association of British Columbia. Cycling
BC member and active Road & Track Coach Jeremy Storie was recently selected
as Coach of the Month by the Coaching Association of British
Columbia (CABC).

Storie has been an active cycling coach for the past
15 years. He is a fully certified NCCP Level 3 coach and is currently
working on the completion of his Level 4 tasks. Highlights of his coaching
career have been coaching some of the best cyclists in Canada. He is very
proud to see such athletes as Mandy Poitras successfully representing Canada
on the podium at World Cups and World Championships.

Storie is passionate about developing youth in the sport of cycling. He
enthusiastically dedicates himself to providing the best possible situations
for all young riders to get the most out of the sport of cycling. Storie
shares his extensive sport science knowledge with his athletes, and always
ensures that their training and activities are athlete centered.

His advice to coaches: “Make sure that everything is always about the
athlete!”
