November 15, 2003 – Canada's Genevieve Jeanson, recently fifth at the Hamilton 2003 Worlds women's ITT, but unable to start the women's elite road race because of elevated hematocrit levels, will be addressing the media on Monday, November 17, 2003, regarding the recent enquiry pertaining to Dr. Maurice Duquette. Last week Duquette was charged with several accounts of improperly prescribing EPO. After several media requests to reveal the names of the athletes involved in the Duquette case, Jeanson has decided to holding a press conference of her own to clear up any rumours or questions concerning her connection to Dr. Duquette. After her elevated hematocrit test at the world championships, Jeanson also submitted a urine test which came back negative, thus  clearing her of any suspicions of EPO or NESP use.
