Jayco Tour of Queensland

November 6, 2003 – Canada's Eric Wohlberg (Maryborough City/Isis Shire) lost his slender lead after the fifth stage, dropping into second overall behind Brett Aitken (Miriam Vale/Kolan/Perry Shires). The fourth stage was won by Hector Morales (Caravello) and the fith by Aitken. Although Wohlberg finished 21st in the sprint, he only had a second lead going into stage 5 and now sits 13 seconds behind, in second place.

Jayco Tour of Queensland

November 5, 2003 – Canada's Eric Wohlberg (Maryborough City/Isis Shire) has regained the lead in the Jayco Tour of Queensland after losing it yesterday. Wohlberg took second on today's stage behind South African Tiaan Kannemeyer (Barloworld) and put a 1:45 gap into third place Jamie Drew (Jayco.) Wohlberg now leads the race but there are still four stages remaining.

Jayco Tour of Queensland

November 4, 2003 – Sean Sullivan, (Barloworld team) has won the second stage of the Tour of Queensland after beating his four other breakaway companions: Bart Heirewegh (Bundaberg Sugar), Czechoslovakian Jindrich Vana (Mirvac), David McKenzie (Jayco), and Mark Jamieson (Emu Spirit – Tasmanian Institute of Sport). The break escaped with just 26km to and means that Canada's Eric Wohlberg (Maryborough City/Isis Shire) had to pass his leader's jersey to Heirewegh. Dom Perras (Jayco), Canada's other rider in the race, finished 8th.

Jayco Tour of Queensland

November 3, 2003 – Canada's Eric Wohlberg (Maryborough City/Isis Shire) has taken the first stage of the Jayco Tour of Queensland, a 42k crit. Wohlberg handily defeated Aussies Brett Aitken (Miriam Vale/Kolan/Perry Shires) and Aaron Kemps (Cabe). With the win, Wohlberg is the overall leader, and will have help from his regular Saturn teammate Tim Johnson, who won last weeks Sun Tour.
